Transmission upgrades...your thoughts?

Post by 356redux »

hey guys I have been working on getting my 92 shorty 2wd whipped into shape. I have a few components from TCI for my tranny and I wanted to know what you guys think of the combination of parts. I got a shift improver kit that has both strip and rv valve configurations. i have both billet 2nd and 4th gear servos, and i also have the tv boost valve. If I do the shift improver kit set to RV do you think I should still do the tv boost valve? Or will i make it shift too hard. I want a good crisp shift without it being jarring. Any transmission techs out there?

If I where you,I would go right back to TCI.Their tech support is first class. With them it isn't how much they sell, but more about keeping you happy selling you the right stuff.
