G80 in 2000 Astro LS 2wd w/towing package?

I bought an Astro with hopes of converting it to 4x4. But it seems very costly to change the 2wd to 4wd. I might just stick to 2wd with a lift if this one has the g80 in the rear. Also, What is the gear ratio of this 2wd?

the only way to know for sure is to check on the sticker on the passenger side door for one of the following rpo code

GT4 Rear Axle: 3.73 Ratio
GT5 Rear Axle: 4:10 Ratio
GU5 Rear Axle: 3.23 Ratio
GU6 Rear Axle: 3.42 Ratio

if you see G80 in there it means you do indeed have a positraction rear end, if you want to know what else your van has here is a long list of possibilities
