misfire worst with humidity

Post by chino »

1998 Safari with 160000 miles having trouble with a intermittent misfire when cold or if it rains or if humid out side it runs very bad. Around here it misfires about 10 or so minutes its docent rain a lot here. But at the beach it its bad any ideas what it could be would appreciate any help. Its driving me crazy.

Check your distributor for excess play in the bushings. I had the same symptom and a new dist. cured it.
