This is not a great copy from a magazine I wish it was better because i want to do this but its hard to read. Take a look!

Recently bought a 1989 Astro RS from Florida. Replaced stock engine witha 1997 5.7 vortec with TBI and replaced transmission with rebuilt 700R4 with mild shift kit.

this site lists the november '93 issue of sport trucks listed in one of your pictures, with 4 available for purchase...looking through the '94 issues i see several i recognize, and might still have...they have no minitruckin' issues though, mike shartsis wrote several tech articles on his astro when he was co-editor of mt, and his van is still the first one that comes into my mind when someone mentions custom astro/safaris...
