Thanks a lot Steve. I really appreciate that. Originally being from the midwest, I can't get enough of the mountains out here.
Matty, we will hook up for a ride in your neck of the woods ( or should I say shrub steppe).
TLessB, those are great shots. Thanks for posting them. it's always cool to see all the different angles of Mt Baker. From Mt Cheam is the most I've seen it look like the volcanoe that it is. On a ride two weekends ago we could look down onto Cultus Lake and staright across to Vedder Mt. WHen I moved out here, I thought it was odd that everyone wanted to call Mt McKinley by it's native name Denali, but it's not popular to use Komo Kulshan instead of Mt Baker. Not that I care one way or another, just thought it was oddly inconsistant. Have you eve noticed that?
