Re: Popping from front suspension
Got it in the garage today and greased everything and the problem still persists. I did find that my tie rod end's rubber boot are dry rotted and won't even hold grease anymore, it just seeps out the cracks. I am going to order new ones this week on payday and see if that fixes the pop, I hope so. W...

Re: Popping from front suspension
My van is RWD, not AWD. I am heading to lowes to buy a grease gun after lunch. Is there more to grease than just the 4 balljoints? Also I never got a straight answer, could that cause the popping? I haven't been driving the van and I don't want to until it is fixed so I'm going to try everything. I ...

Popping from front suspension
I have a 2000 RWD Astro. I have been noticing a popping that is very frequent when I am turning into a parking place or turning at all at slow speeds. I changed my wheel bearings today hoping that would fix it and after they were installed I grabbed each wheel and tried to move them. Also my friend ...

Which heater core?
I have a little girl due in December so I need to get my rear heat working asap. I have a 2000 Astro with factory rear heat and AC. Heat and air work great up front, AC works great in the rear, but heat does not work in the rear. I am assuming that the heater core is a good place to start on fixing ...

The Fed-Ex lable says 36.5lbs, but I have not weighed them. And by the way the hub bore was 82 when they came not 94.

Re: 20x8.5 Recommended Tire Size
Wow, Those are gonna be T H I N... Good Luck, Jim I would like to go with a thicker sidewall such as the 255/45/20 as listed above, it is a 29.04" diameter so I don't see why it wouldn't work, but I can't find anyone running this combination which makes me think that there may be rubbing issues.

Re: 20x8.5 Recommended Tire Size
I want a tire close to the factory height, would a 255/45/20 be an alright size to run? I gave you this Tire Size Calculator in your other topic on this sort of subject. http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp It will let you visually compare your Stock Size with your desired upgrade size. Have a look ...

Re: 20x8.5's on an Astro? Will they fit?
Make sure you aren't spending more than $736 for the set with FREE SHIPPING . That is 20x8.5 5x5. Unless you are going polished/chrome. Black or gray center should cost you no more than that. Check Tire-easy.com for some tires and maybe you won't have to wait to get the package together. Nice, than...

Re: 20x8.5's on an Astro? Will they fit?
I wouldn't think it would hurt it too bad, I will be running a stock height tire and I have helper bags and trailer brakes. I would really like to upgrade the front brakes though. Also I see threads everywhere where people have towed 5000+ lbs with their Astro, I just need to take it easy and watch ...

Re: 20x8.5's on an Astro? Will they fit?
Short answer is yes they fit no problem. Long answer is, 18" Boss 338 wheels did not have the correct hub bore, so I had to run a 1/4" spacer up front to clear dust cap, they obviously clear fine on the rear drums, but I put the 1/4 spacer on there as well so the would match up front usin...
