I've used the brake lines that have a spring like coil swound around them. It makes them a lot easier to bend without kinking them. Auto Zone doesn't sell them, and the guy there told me that I couldn't use them because the rust out, so be wary of that if you are in the rust belt. I bought mine at a...

I've been considering a new one myself. I think it is more suitable.

This may sound harsh, but I am kind of hoping the other board goes down in flames at this point. It's clear that it will remain a 1 man show, and that will not cut it. At least here it is the efforts of a group, therefore has a better future. If the other board gets fixed, and is perfect with warm f...

as I previously mentioned, I am probably just over anal about it. I notice mine to the point that if I jam the top shim (a doubled over starter shim) before the trailer is hooked up (weight on the ball) as opposed to after, I can hear it rattle. I really need to replace the bushings in the trailer t...

well, first you need to chain the voyager to a tree out back for the crows to peck at. You're van will function much better once it's the only one in the driveway. Just teasing. You're van looks real nice. Tiara made a great conversion. Don't worry, you won't need specific suggestions, If you spend ...

CRAP! Thought it would be an easy fix this time for once... http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l157/ds99_2006/Smileys/blowup.gif That's exactly the way I felt the first time I had to put them on the wifes old jimmy. determined it needed bearings and headed to the parts store with a nice crisp $50.00...

This looks like this is the cheapest place around. Not a bad price http://www.hotbuyselectronics.com/item_detail.php?item_id=112724 It seems you will need an additional adapter for the aux input though. I found it for about 35.00. I am not familiar with HD radio, as we're pretty radio sucky around h...

If I make one up that works out well, I'll make an extra.

Never thought of the door shim. That would work better than my hacksaw-blade-o-rama.

that being said, the alpine is the way to go if you want to control the ipod. The Aiwa is the way to go for price. I gave something like $120.00 for mine about 2 years ago. I am unsure of other reputable brands that have front inputs. My Lanzaar has a front input, but it is junk. I am pretty sure du...
