I have a TBI engine in a 1992 GMC Safari, I want to hook up my aftermarket tachometer but I have no idea what goes where red = +
Black = Ground, Green is probably lights and white must hook to something in the ignition but what?
What do I hook my tach too on the ignition?

DJ, if you google the manufacturer of your tach, I'm sure there will be a website that will have the color code of the tach wires on it. That's how I found out which wire was which on the Sun Super II tach I had laying around .

Most tachs are
Black=ground
Green=lights
White= dist feed
red= power from ignition
There should be a white coming out of dist or coil, I believe you jump one of those to feed tach, but check with someone else here!!!!
