I am "trying" to change the gaskets on the oil filter adapter and have a major issue with a leak on a 1999 4.3 X engine.Hard to see up there and hold the O-ring in place along with the center gasket.I know some of you guys have dealt with this before and am looking for suggestions.It cert...

Why not use the original replacement part?

Don't be stupid...

No ground, No path for correct circuit operation.

A member could chase their tale all around the wiring, only to later discover a faulty ground.

Good Troubleshooting minimizes the length of time to make a proper repair.

TB I never said only check grounds.

Check your grounding points first, as they are the most likely culprits...

Sounds like an open, and not a short to me.
