Started checking for more vacuum leaks--none to be found. Pulled the air filter housing and checked the throttle body. Yeah, kinda carboned up. Before pulling it to clean I checked the linkage/cables. Hmmm, the cruise control seems a little tight. Too much tension. I can actually push on the linkage and get the throttle to close a little. Pull the TB and see there's an adjustment for the cruise control motor cable. Lets try that. Cleaned up the TB while I was at it. What do you know idle is back down around 700. Test drive--NO FAULT CODES, NO MORE HIGH IDLE! Yippee!
