Re: Brake wobble ...

I know the bearings are good on mine. I probably should have mentioned that about 2 months ago i re-packed the bearings and replaced the seals, as well as replacing the pads, hoses, and lubed up the caliper pins real good. On mine i think the only variable left is the tires.

Re: Brake wobble ...

My 95 has been doing pretty much the same thing as your's phr1$k37. It varies from no pulsation/shake to pretty violent. I never know what I'm going to get when i hit the brakes. All of the front end pieces are nice and tight and I'm not getting any odd tire wear. Sometime in the next few days/weeks...

Hard 1st-2nd shift

My 2000 AWD shifts really hard into second under light to regular acceleration but it shifts normally under harder acceleration and it holds firm in every gear all the time. I've tested it in tow/haul mode and it acts the same way. The van has about 144,000 miles on it and the fluid was/is a little ...

Peak Global lifetime antifreeze

The last few years I've been using Peak Global lifetime antifreeze in my truck. I like that you can mix it with any other antifreeze and it's guaranteed to last "for as long as you own your vehicle" . http://www.peakantifreeze.com/peak_global_lifetime.html A few years ago i flushed the coo...

Veyron into a marsh

Guy accidentally drove his Bugatti Veyron into a salt marsh.

The salt can't have done it any good.

Re: What did you do to/with your van today?

Drove 200 miles round trip to buy a set of factory aluminum rims for the 95.
$72 for the rims and gas to get up there and back. I've been looking for a set for a long time and that's the best deal i could find...

Sounds/looks like bearings to me. You jack it up and give it a wiggle yet?

Awesome, you've probably seen all kinds of cool stuff down there.
Baja 1000 and Dakar right around the corner. Gives a guy from Kentucky something to look forward to for the first half of winter.

Re: Hello all

So is there a new tactic to make your girlfriend not feel jealous you have newer more plush ride by driving HER ride??? :poke: I don't remember why but we switched vans a few weeks ago, so of course my nice "leather" interior is now 6 to 8 inches deep in boogers, half-eaten pop tarts and ...

Re: Front Diff Delete?

Anyone know of an online manual or exploded view of the model transfer case found in an 00?
I've never had one apart and have no idea what actually makes it "electric".

Hello all

I bought a 95 astro about 8 months ago for my girlfriend to drive and haul her kids around in, it was the first thing i found for ...
