Minor update. Last week. Added 4 cans of Seafoam into the tank and have run most of it out. Today.... Changed timing to 0* TDC or maybe 1*BTDC (was hard to tell). Replaced PCV. Cleaned out the PCV tubing. It was maybe 50% or less airflow. Replaced the air filter. Checked voltage in the fuel pump har...

But, most people here are missing the point. Like Knucklehead said, HC is a product of unburnt fuel, has little to do with the quality of the cat. Rich would be CO. I buy gas 3-4 times a week, the pumps stops at $75.00 (75.1799805 Canadian) before the tank is full.
And it has the crappy paint job.
