I think that's a cool storage idea! Have you considered replacing the plastic panel clips with a quick release fastener? Maybe something like a Dzus fastener? I would like to replace them with some sort of quick release...or cut a door into the foam panel itself. The Dzus fastener might work really...

After a 1 hour search on the web using a bazillion different search strings, I finally found a post on a blazer site where someone explained that you need to use a prybar to pry in-between the yoke shield of the driveshaft and the TC. Did this...and "pop" it came out! Encoder motor replace...

Stink. So I am i the throws of replacing the motor...but cannot get the front driveshaft out of the TC so I can pull the last mounting bolt out of the encoder motor. seems like having a hole in your floor and an actual exhaust pipe inside would worsen your problems. i would like mentioned just have it looked at by a legit exhaust shop and fix any leaks they may find. you know...I might just do that. at least in the meantime. if I get some spare time and a huge ...
